Casual Roles – Social Support Groups and Respite Care 

Do you have aged care or lifestyle training and looking for casual work? 

We’re always looking to employ enthusiastic people to support a variety of activities in group settings, primarily for older people, and people who can support individuals to go out and about in the community (providing respite to their carers).

Hours of work can vary from 3 hours per week to 3 days on a monthly roster, for successful candidates. Hours are between 8.30 am – 5 pm weekdays.

Podiatrist – Grade 2

Permanent Part Time (0.6 FTE)

Our Health and Wellbeing Unit is seeking a Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary and innovative Allied Health Team. We provide a broad range of individual and group based services and programs for individuals and their carers from the Sunbury community, with an emphasis on those who need us most.

This position encompasses the application of a broad range of clinical Podiatry skills, to clients with chronic and complex conditions and ‘high risk’ feet, based on current Best Practice Guidelines. SCH welcomes innovation and offers numerous opportunities to design, develop and implement new and exciting programs, and challenge the way things are done.

General Dentist (Level 3)

0.6-1.0 FTE (Monday – Friday)

This position presents an opportunity to work within a supportive dental clinic, with experienced dental staff.  As a dentist at Sunbury Community Health, you will provide care to eligible patients under the public dental system, according to the guidelines and regulations set out by Dental Health Services Victoria.

Our team consists of 3 dentists, 2 Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope) and 3 dental therapists. Our clinic is well equipped with digital radiographs, rotary endodontic equipment, surgical handpieces, DSLR camera, and intraoral camera. We are set up for tele-dentistry and training to provide tele-dentistry consults can be provided for the right candidate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Dentistry recognisable in Australia
  • Registration with AHPRA/Dental Board of Australia
  • Irradiating Apparatus Licence
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid Level 1 or 2 Certification

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 24-months experience as a practising general dentist within Australia/New Zealand
