Casual Roles – Activity Groups Support and Respite Care 

Do you have aged care or lifestyle training and looking for casual work? 

We’re always looking to employ enthusiastic people to support a variety of activities in group settings, primarily for older people, and people who can support individuals to go out and about in the community (providing respite to their carers).

Hours of work can vary from 3 hours per week to 3 days on a monthly roster, for successful candidates. Hours are between 8.30 am – 5 pm weekdays.

Child Development Practitioner – Audiologist

Permanent Part Time 2 days per week (plus additional 1 day per week for first 12 months)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Paediatric Audiologist (Grade 2) to join our dynamic and talented Child Development Team.

We are offering an ongoing permanent 2 days per week position and a 1 day per week 12 month fixed term component to April, 2020.

The successful applicant will provide a responsive and flexible centre-based Paediatric Audiology service to pre-school and school-aged children.

General Dentist (Level 2)

Full Time Fixed Term to 30 June 2020

This position presents an opportunity to work within a supportive dental clinic, with experienced dental staff. As a dentist at Sunbury Community Health, you will provide care to eligible patients under the public dental system, according to the guidelines and regulations set out by Dental Health Services Victoria.

Our clinic is well equipped with digital radiographs, rotary endodontic equipment, surgical handpieces, DSLR camera, and intraoral camera. We are set up for teledentistry and training to provide teledentistry consults can be provided for the right candidate.

With 4 dentists, 1 Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope) and 3 dental therapists on our team, mentorship is readily available to grow your confidence and skills as a clinician.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified with a Bachelor degree in Dentistry recognisable in Australia, and registered as a general dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Your proven ability to work efficiently to provide empathetic and effective dental care to a wide range of patients with varying dental needs will help you be successful in this position. Knowledge of the public dental system and the Titanium patient management software and processes will also be beneficial.

Team Support Officer – Care Coordination Team

Permanent Part Time (60.8 hours per fortnight)

Our Health and Wellbeing Unit is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Support Officer to provide administrative support to our new Care Coordination Team.

You would work in partnership with team members and corporate staff and be responsible for a range of vital administrative functions.  Specific focus would be on  processes required to administer the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for Sunbury Community Health, as well as supporting some administrative functions for our Home Care Packages.

This fast paced and varied position will suit those who possess strong administrative skills, a good eye for detail and ideally have experience in the health sector.

Acting Counselling Unit Manager

 12 Months Fixed Term (0.9 – 1.0 EFT (negotiable))

Reporting to the General Manager Child, Youth and Family Services, you will provide leadership and operational oversight of the Counselling Unit. You will supervise and support three team leaders within the unit, with teams working across the sectors of family violence, alcohol and other drugs, family services and generalist counselling. You will engage with key stakeholders across these sectors, to develop and maintain strong partnerships and current sector knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • knowledge of the social and community service sector
  • high level clinical supervision skills in counselling and/or casework practice
  • the ability to effectively identify and manage clinical risk
  • enthusiasm for working in partnership and seeking service development opportunities

In this role, you will be a member of the organisational leadership team. You will embrace the Purpose and Values of SCH and contribute to organisational success in achieving key strategic objectives.
