Any child, any concern. Enable supports families and carers with children (0-4 years of age) who have a developmental delay, living in the City of Hume.
Enable is here to help create fun and supportive environments for children to learn and engage as well as develop skills with activities like reading, song and rhymes.
Talk to our experienced early childhood teacher and speech pathologist over the phone or online (e.g. Zoom). You can talk to us about:
- Children’s development – what to expect at what age, signs children might need help
- Ways to help children develop new skills
- Supports available in your community
- Referrals to developmental supports like a speech pathologist
For more information on the Enable program and how to get involved contact the Enable team on 9744 9587. Interpreters are available.
Identifying Concerns – Red Flags Guide
The Red Flags Early Identification Guide provides information about child development. The poster can help family and carers identify developmental concerns, to ensure support can be provided at the right time.
See guide below, or call us on 9744 9587 and the Enable Team will be able to assist you with any questions.

Singalongs and Storytime
The Enable team have created a series of songs and rhymes for parents and children to share, with ideas and tips along the way around language and communication development. New songs, stories and rhymes are added each week.
Through reading, music and song we can give our children more confidence whilst having lots of fun!
Some great classics in there like I’m a little Tea Pot, A Big Mack Truck, I can see a Rainbow, plus loads more!
