Arabic Speaking Families: Safe & Strong

This program provides a holistic approach for Arabic speaking women and children who are experiencing family violence. It was was developed in partnership with Uniting, inTouch and Foundation House.

Family violence counsellors, case workers and financial counsellors work together to support women and children. There is also the opportunity to participate in group therapy sessions.

How much will it cost?

It is free.

Who is it for?

Women living in Hume or Moreland local government areas who are from Arabic speaking backgrounds and experiencing family violence.

Women can refer themselves or be referred through community organisations such as schools, health and community services, the courts, police or council.
